The Men

During the war Ken is shot and becomes a paraplegic he is them moved to a hospital that deals with patients with similar injuries. Ken is treated by Dr. Brock who is doing his best to help his patients but Ken isn’t dealing with the fact the he will never walk again. Before the war Ken was engaged to Ellen who has tracked him down and plans on marrying him still, Ken feels like a failure and a freak but he eventually stops feeling sorry for himself and begins exercise to prepare for their wedding. Ellen loves Ken but the new responsibilities of looking after a paraplegic frighten her, so how will Ken and Ellen deal with their issues after marriage
