In 1970’s Las Angeles, self-employed private eye Jackson Healey and single father private investigator Holland March are brought together to investigate the murder of the famous adult film star ‘Misty Mountains’ who died in a car accident. In their search for clues the hippie girl who hired the two detectives has gone missing and now she ‘Amelia’ is the person of interest. Holland and Jackson are opposites but are forced to team up and work together to uncover the mystery, which leads them into a deeper conspiracy involving a government agency and Amelia’s mother, a high ranking official in the Justice Department.
