The Conjuring Universe, In 1952, Romania an Abby is disturbed by a nun hanging herself and the violent, supernatural past of the church has brought about the attention of the Vatican who send out a Priest, Father Burke and a novice on the threshold of her final vows, Sister Irene, to investigate. The two meet ‘Frenchie’ a local who stumbled across the dead nun while making a delivery, he joins their quest to get to the bottom of whats going on. It is soon made clear that the Abby is haunted by a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun, but how could this be and how can they fix it
