Senate Staffer, Daniel J. Jones, is selected to lead an investigation for the Senate against the CIA after interrogation videotapes an reports were destroyed. After the September 11 attacks, the CIA took it upon themselves to incorporate ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’ into their program when dealing with possible terrorism suspects. The techniques were very close to torture, including things like waterboarding, sleep deprivation, beatings, threats, stress positions and other shady measures. After working for a number of years with a small team, Dan provides a complete report after reviewing over 6 million pages of CIA material. Working alongside Senator Dianne Feinstein to present the report is near impossible though, as the CIA are throwing every reason and excuse at the senate to prevent the report from ever reaching the public.
