Based on the true story of Frontiersman Hugh Glass who in the 1820’s while on a fur trading expedition was brutally mauled by a grizzly bear. After the attack Hugh’s fellow hunters left him for dead as it was too dangerous to waste time in uncharted territory, lead by John Fitzgerald who betrayed Glass by burying him alive after murdering his son Hawk. Through unimaginable grief and pain Hugh survived and is now on a journey for revenge against Fitzgerald but he is miles away from anywhere. Over time Hugh heals but the dangerous terrain and extreme freezing cold temperatures could send him to his grave before he gets his revenge.
