Defense attorney Richard Ramsay’s new case seems like an extremely unlikely one to win. Rich lawyer Boone Lassiter is found dead in his bedroom, with a large knife sticking out of his chest, his 17-year-old son Mike with a bloody hand-print, says to his mother ‘I did it’. Now in court and refusing to speak at all, Mike stands little chance of freedom, however Ramsay and his new advisor, Janelle, are tirelessly working to dig up dirt on Boone and his toxic relationships with Mike and his mother, Loretta. As the case goes on we discover the truth behind Mike’s and Loretta’s motivations surrounding Boone, meanwhile Janelle has suspicions about certain people avoiding the spotlight altogether.
