To Kill a Mockingbird

Atticus Finch is a hard working lawyer living in the south during the depression with his two children Jem and Scout. Atticus is assigned to a case where he must defend a black man against undeserved rape charges and most of the town is against him and his decision to help the man, meanwhileJem and Scout are spying on their neighbour Boo Radley who is supposedly insanethough they have never actually seen him. When the court case ends Atticus and his children find out the cold hard truth about thepeople living in their era and how hard it is to change their ways for a better world.
