We Were Soldiers

Based on the true story of the first major battle between America and Vietnam in the mid 60’s during the Vietnam war. Lt. Col. Hal Moore led the 1st Battalion, 7 Calvary Regiment, first division into a war with overwhelming odds, in a seemingly peaceful and beautiful Vietnamese valley at the base of a large mountain Lt. Moore and his fellow soldiers fought bravely and courageously for days while the Vietnam soldiers derived their plans within the mountain stronghold, surrounding the troops until they couldn’t breathe. The use of helicopters proved useful for swapping the injured men on the battlefield with fresh soldiers throughout the days but they were still massively outnumbered and trapped on the low ground. Witness the extraordinary events that led Lt. Moore and his Regiment to victory through a hellish battle.
