Mavis Gary is a recently divorced teen-novel writer who has never grown up, she’s lazy, messy, self-centered and now has her eyes set on her high school boyfriend Buddy. Mavis moves back to her hometown where she plans on seducing Buddy to get back with her although Buddy has no interest as he is now married and has a new baby. Mavis also befriends the crippled boy for her grade Matt who warns her against what she is doing but like the flirtatious popular student she once was Mavis wont back down.
